Simca 1000 Abarth version

Recently I joined a Facebook page of Simca 1000 enthousiasts, hoping to find pictures of the Jaegertableau in this car. No succes so far. It seems that this item is very rearly used in the Simca. Someone told me that the dash looked very similar to the dash of the Simca Abarth 1150. This car was introduced in 1962 in 4 versions in the sideline of the better known Simca Abarth 1300 at the Turin motorshow. I understand that there was no real production by Simca, because thé new owner (Chrysler) finished the project , but the car could be ordered at Abarth.

The dash looks very similar to the one for the first version of the Jaegertableau in the Simca 1000 (version 3). If so then this could be the connection  with the Jaegertableau that came on the market in 1964!

Update 3-09-2019: on a website of Simca enthousiasts there are pictures of an original 1150 delivered in the USA. The dash in This car has a tableau that containes the Jaeger instruments as in the first known tableau’s. There are 2 pictures added. Further some pictures of the tableau with different instruments both from Jaeger Italia with the special Abarth ones, and with the Jaeger France ones.

Update 10-12-2018: recently I visited the Abarth works museum from Guy Moerenhout in Lier (Belgium) who owns  a 1150 and took some pictures of the dash of his car. Pictures 9 and 10.

Update 3-08-2021: I recieved a picture from an original dash that was found at a oldtimermarket in France (picture 11).
