That was the slogan used in the advertisements in the early sixties when Jaeger started to offer "appareils de complement" and tableaux speciaux for cars.
A few days agoo there was a picture in this blog showing a "compte tours" placed in the left part of the dash. Big surprise: the owner of the car made contact and send me a picture of the complete dash of his 1961 Citroen DS where several Jaeger instruments and voyants give him good information what happens in his moteur!
Very nice and original, since in 1961 there was no Jaegertableau for the DS!
